Community Support Worker (PSO-2)- Community Integration Program
Full time, 8 month contract

The Community Forensic Mental Health Service (CFMHS) provides specialist community programs for people who have a forensic history, or are at risk of offending and who have a serious mental illness or present with problem behaviours related to offending. The Community Integration Program seeks to enhance outcomes for clients exiting Thomas Embling Hospital (TEH) and prison through the provision of complex transitional, case management and consultative services.

This position will be expected to assist in the provision of intensive outreach, for a set period of time pre release/discharge and post release/discharge for clients transitioning from prison and TEH.

A challenging opportunity exists at the Dandenong and Frankston Magistrates’ Courts for an experienced mental health clinician to provide:

• Psychiatric assessment and advice to the courts
• Diversion of mentally ill offenders from the criminal
justice system
• Community education
• Service linkage

Forensicare comprises Thomas Embling Hospital in Fairfield, which is a 118 bed inpatient purpose built hospital, a community based service, prison based services, court services and consultation and liaison with adult mental health services.

We currently have an exciting position available for an enthusiastic Finance Officer to join our friendly Finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Co-ordinator your duties would include processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, bank reconciliations and debtor management. In addition the successful applicant will be responsible for patient trust accounts.

Ideally the successful applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Experience in Axapta would be an advantage.
